I feel really bad because I actually requested a copy of this -- I was so pumped! The story sounded excited, the marketing was great... but it just didn't live up to my expectations. I have waited to write this so I could find the right words so I am forgetting some of the smaller details BUT this FMC just clearly hates men, which is not what I thought I was signing up for. I thought we would see something bad happen that would set her on the path promised, but instead, her inner monologue is just pure hatred. I don't want to get into specifics, because I don't want to spoil anything, but yeah, the first 10% wasn't it for me. I see so many positive reviews and posts on Facebook about it, which I am happy to see for this absolute lovely author. It's not my cup of haterade though.
