i only put this book down to sleep and take my cat to the vet.. this is the type of book that starts of slow then all of a sudden you look up, it’s dark outside and you haven’t eaten dinner yet. the story of mmiw is so important and needs to be amplified. the author also discusses the ways this touches the community through generational trauma and how quill and her friends make strides to change things for the next generation.
