You know I’ll always read a book about time travel, and this is one I buddy read with a friend.

I liked it overall, even if I didn’t love it. Each story is poignant, especially with the rules of time travel defined and how ultimately nothing will change by going back into the past (or even the future). It’s the present that matters and seizing what you have. “The Sisters” and “Mother and Child” were my favorite, but I also have a soft spot for “Husband and Wife.” I may continue the rest of series as I’m still curious to see what the other stories are.

I also just discovered that this was adapted into a movie called CAFE FUNICULI FUNICULA, which will be interesting to watch right after reading.
