Moon Blooded Breeding Clinic by C.M. Nascosta

Did not finish book. Stopped at 73%.
I had a really hard time with this book. Which was disappointing because I've enjoyed the other Cambrick Creek books and was especially looking forward to Lowell's story. Unfortunately, I had a very hard time with the flow of this book. The MCs don't even meet until maybe 33% of the way into the book. That is always a hard sell to me in a romance, but it was especially difficult in this one since the writing didn't lend to tangible character growth. Everything felt really long and drawn out, even the first meeting of our MCs. And then once they meet, it's like a race track to love. Total turn around, but I wasn't feeling the romance.

I occasionally have the experience that Nascosta's writing moves in strange spirals. The ones in this book were very internal thought processes, including the steam scenes (so I couldn't really get into those either). Sometimes her writing really works for me and sometimes it feels like a big ol' miss. I was sad to say I was too bored to finish this one. But I hold out hope that her next is my cup of tea.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
