Blackout is a book that'll give you butterflies in your stomach and warm feeling inside your heart. Lately, I feel myself drifting away from YA romance but Blackout is like a gentle reminder of why I love reading YA romance. I smile and squeal a lot while reading this. It gives me a sense of nostalgia and makes me feel alive.

Blackout is a collection of bittersweet stories during a blackout in New York City. Who would've thought that a blackout can bring the best and the worst out of people? The stories are interconnected with one another, with each characters are heading to a block party. It's almost as if we listen to them talking to us about their neighbors, cousins, or school friends, you know? Here we have ex-lovers with unfinished business (yes CLBK remains superior you guys), lingering feelings between two friends, longtime friends become lovers, new beginnings.

I absolutely love this anthology and I want everyone to know it and read this book.
