A House with Good Bones by T. Kingfisher

4.0

An atmospheric slow burn that is perfect for spooky season. While I sometimes skimmed over the monologues about bugs (they're not my thing), I did find the writing engaging, and I enjoyed Sam's narration, especially her dry humour. Things definitely ramp up by the last 80%, and it's a wild but enjoyable ride. I wish the ending could've explained things a bit more, but overall, I was satisfied with it.
