I wanted to read another Gabrielle Zevin book after reading Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow. It was slow-paced but absolutely precious. I fell in love with Maya instantly. And I love the matter of fact A.J. spoke with her.

His character's transformation over the course of raising Maya was inspiring. It made me wonder what it would be like to have a child of my own. I was 100% not expecting her to be David’s offspring!

Overall, it was a nice feel-good story about love and connecting through books.
