Regretting You by Colleen Hoover

4.0

Really liked the mother and daughter dual perspectives in this. The story about their relationship and overcoming grief while learning to understand each other was lovely but I really feel like two of the characters didn’t need to be quite as villainous as they were for this to have resonated. I just would’ve liked the chance to empathize with them a little more, but ultimately it felt like “character X is perfect and has never done anything wrong” and “character Y is soooo selfish wtf.” I still really enjoyed it though!!
