Oh my. I got through two chapters and figured out what the big twist would be! There was no way I was going to wade through 300 pages of clunky writing that was so obviously trying not to use the words "he", "she", "him" or "her" when referring to the main characters. I mean, come on! I skipped to the end and confirmed my suspicions. I hate one-trick pony books where the author gets the last laugh!

As I did not bother to read the rest, I'm not including this in my Goodreads challenge for this year (2017)! But I do think it warrants a one-star rating.
