Enjoyable Murakami — some were more to my taste than others. Kino and Drive My Car and Scheherazade were probably my favourites, and thankfully I didn’t dislike any. Short stories are often a gamble! I do wish there has been more magical realism, and overall some of these short stories could have delved deeper into reflection of the realism they embraced.
