Woahh I'm finished. Instant 5/5 from meh!!! I prefer this book over the first one.
1. The character development is solid.
2. The setting is much more beautiful.
3. There's more FMC's adventure than the MMC.
4. The romance feels natural.
I really want to read the next book, but I'm not interested in vampire stories. Like that's a common story, it's feels like not for me. But in case I read the book anyway in the future, I won't judge now.
Oh, but one thing is missing, there is no plot twist that makes you excited. :""
I expected that Vena would turn out to be a traitor, imagine that Davien's trusted person would betray him, it's exciting. But no, the book is too soft & gentle. Nothing too bloody.

I like Shaye's character, she is a really strong person, both mentally and physically. Suitable to be Katria's best friend. I was quite moved when Shaye said Katria was her friend, even though Katria was a human & Shaye was a fae. Wow, that's really exciting!!!
The bottom line is I LOVE THIS BOOK!!
