So, I'd never read a Stephen King book before this one. But he was an author that always intrigued me because he is the source material for a few TV shows/films I enjoy. So thought it's about time I read his stuff.
Started with Carrie because it is so well known. It does not disappoint. Not in the slightest.
I haven't seen either of the films but knew the story as it is so ingrained in pop culture because of those.

But knowing sort of what happens didn't detract from the reading as I didn't really know what to expect.

This was rather easy for me to read, even with the bouncing from actual events to experts from things "written after the event". It worked and flowed so well.

I need to decide what to read next to make sure King is definitely an author to continue with. But the fact I do want to decide on one is a good sign.

The other question..... do I watch the film(s)?!
