Reading this series on audio, female voice has been great, male voice is grating at times and doesn't do different male voices or accents well at all.
This time the couple is Liam the bad boy of F1 racing and on strict orders to clean up his antics or lose the contract. Sophie is the sheltered daughter of the owner of the racing team that is his competition.
As note I read a later series of hers and can see the growth in plot and reduction in smut.
This was noticed in this novel. They actually have a real friendship, real conversations and some LOL moments. I also could envision the sounds, smells and places described in the book. It had more emotion than the previous novel.
While competing Sophie's bucket list, they become close. We also see more of her and Myas's relationship. In all a good read. Hope this new direction works more in the next book
