4.5 stars rounded up to 5. I loved this book! Quentin is....wow....he is definitely book husband material!
I was rooting for Madison and Quentin hard all through Before the Chaos and Rival Hearts! He speaks my love language of kind gestures. I am obsessed with this series and look forward to Cooper's story next.

For a better reading experience read Before the Chaos (Novella) first before Rival Hearts.

I also listened to the audio of this book but the narrators didn't match the voices I had in my head (especially the male narrator). They still did a good job but I would prefer to just read the book for this one. 3/5 narration
