I love Lisa Gardner's crime novels, especially her series with Detective DD Warren. This was a great start to the series.
In this novel, as well as others of hers, I love that she plants a big conflict in this book about what is right and wrong. You have to solve the case and this ethical dilemma along the way. I loved her character Bobby Dodge, but struggled to like Catherine Gagnon (part of the conflicting plot).
There are a few story lines that converge here and it comes together nicely at the end, though wasn't the easiest to follow at times.
