Sometimes you pick a book up expecting a cute little read and then it completely blows you away and it's the best feeling ever.

The relationship between Hallie and Hayden feels so authentic. So many romance books jump straight into the spice (totally fine!), but I appreciated the progression of their relationship both emotionally and physically.

And most important of all, when any book has a Stargate reference, it's an instant boost in its rating. Bravo.
