I found almost all the essays really well written and the connection between patriarchal society, the author's own experiences, and myth extremely well woven. For a book of essays I really couldn't put it down, I was addicted. It's a really easy and fast read but that doesn't mean it's a light book. The author covers a lot of issues. Really worth reading.
