This might be my favourite Emily Henry book yet. I throughly enjoyed Book Livers and Happy Place but somehow this story seemed even richer and more three dimensional. I loved that both main characters, Daphne and Miles, had their own personal challenges. I felt the descriptions of the Michigan landscape were very evocative. The spicy scenes were believable and suitably spicy without giving too much away.
Emily Henry has a great way of writing romance stories that are the thinking woman’s romances. They are multi-layered and thought provoking while also being really fun to read.
