So let’s be real here, it takes less than three pages to get the lowdown on Noah and Mia and the fact that they are very clearly already in a committed relationship with one another and just deluded enough to pretend otherwise. 

The dual POV doesn’t help matters and because of that, the plot feels real basic. Like, REAL basic. 

And I’m just not in the mood for that kind of romance story right now. 

So despite this ticking a lot of boxes for me on the trope front, I need to be honest with myself and drop it like it’s hot.
