Garnet Christie did amazing with her debut book and first of this series, but this one is even better, if it’s possible. If you’re a lover of slow burn, this one will have you hanging on to every bit Garnet gives us because it takes a WHILE. But it’s not boring--it’s all very satisfying and appropriate. For anyone going, ugh, slow burns, well stick with me for a moment. Saber and Eliza are everything. There’s a reason it’s a slow burn because there is some hardcore hate between these two (well… Actually, I won’t give it away). So it’s all very tasteful and there’s a reason why it’s so slow, but again SO satisfying and I LOVE Saber. He’s everything I love in a male main character therefore he’s mine.

Garnet did awesome with this installment and I look forward to what other romances she’s bringing next!
