I mostly feel fine about this book. All around just fine. The beginning was pretty solid & it felt very nostalgic & similar to books I've read in the past. The middle part sort of lost me & I could've been fine with the romance-y bits being dialed down a bit, but I get that this is a ~romantasy~ book, so I did my best to overlook it. I found myself in a place where I was ready for the book to end & that's never an enjoyable place to find yourself. I did really love the ending! It was a rush and I completely understand the hype surrounding this book. I'm just not sure that I have the desire to carry on with the series, but this was a fun ride while it lasted.
