The writing in this was so pretty. It was definitely slow-paced, but I was never actually bored, it's mostly that in hindsight I'd like the later half of events to have a little more equal weighting (partially because symbolism and partially because that's where most of the story realistically was). Really liked the idea though (although it got a bit actiony at the end which broke the tone for me personally).
