I really liked the atmosphere and the descriptions of nature and the magic it contains. It was a timely read - right when i was in the mood for something nature / forest related. It was a quick and immersive read. If you feel like hiking or going into nature and connect with it but for some reason you can't do it in real life, this book really helps with that. It was a relaxing and refreshing to read, especially with the heat wave we've had recently. I've had a really good time with this book and am really happy to have read it! ❤️

"I’ve never been able to quiet my mind on the best of days, let alone the days that leave me replaying every little detail until I want to scream.
Pike says there’s complete silence in space, that sound can’t travel, and I wonder if that could extend to my thoughts. I wonder if I could float up and up and up, and at some great height my mind would just…still."

"What is coincidence if not a subtle form of magic?"
