❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 I LOVED THIS ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

OMG, this read like a massive warm hug and while every review is subjective, my traumatised little hospitality heart ATE. THIS. UP!

"Can I be honest with you?" he finally asks.
"I would prefer it."
After a beat of silence, he says, "I don't know how to act around you."
"Not sure how to take that, Chef."
"James."
"Not sure how to take that, James."

I absolutely loved reading about Claire and—like Waitlyn Andrews' mentions in her bio—how she's a strong FMC chasing her dream of winning a Michelin Star 🙌🏻

The slow burn was slow burning in the best way, Claire and James had the cutest, most wholesome friends to lovers trope, and the fact that there was a food description at the start of every chapter made reading Yes, Chef so much more fun! (and really hungry lol)

Between the standard steps-right-and-left-to-the-beat that even Hitch would be proud of, he’d throw in a mic moment, or half a sprinkler— or, on occasion, a perfectly timed jellyfish arm wiggle that I never would have in a million years expected to see from a man as attractive as him.
Chef James Sullivan danced to have a good time, and I wish I could say that fact didn’t add “endearing” to the list of adjectives I attached to him and stored with a lock and key to not think about too much, but it did.

Please read Waitlyn Andrews' DEBUT BOOK. It's got:

🥐 (dislike) enemies to friends to lovers
🥐 slow burn
🥐 workplace romance
🥐 he looks after her while she sick...
🥐 no third break up
🥐 closed door / HEA

~ Thank you Waitlyn Andrews and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review ~
