This  book is why I can't trust overhyped books. Was it good... I guess. Literally nothing new in the fantasy genre. Main characters were lack luster at best. The inner monolog and lengthyyyyyy paragraphs and chapters were so unneeded. For me the ONLY thing that had me stick with it and finish it was cause the audio narrators were spot on! So good. Otherwise this one was dragged on way longer than need be. Will I read book 2 when it's out.... I honestly don't know.
