One of the best books I have read in a long time. Not for the faint of heart - there are a lot of details and concepts to consider, along with tragedy and death. But Kate Atkinson has woven a story that gripped me from the first page, seduced me with poetry and detailed history, and made me want to begin reading it all over again, just after I had finished.
