I don't know what it says about me that, now that I'm an adult, I love children's novels.

This was so nostalgic for me. I remember my teacher reading this to me when I was a kid. I had no idea the author was Louis Sachar: Holes was one of my favorite children's novels growing up. Finding out that Sachar wrote another beloved childhood classic is just the cherry on top of my perfect day.

If ever I have kids, I'll be reading this to them!
