Finally ... I've been waiting from Rafe's story since I started this series. It didn't disappoint!
Rafe has a LOT of emotional scars from his parents death at such a young age, and is definitely feeling the pressures of keeping his Pack safe. Especially with the addition of 2 human mates, and a cub on the way. He cannot take a mate .... but is finding it impossible to stay away from Adele.
Adele, on the other hand is extremely Alpha herself, and does NOT need a man, but is totally crushing on Rafe. Finding herself in need of a job, she decides to ask Rafe for a job. Their relationship hits the throttle, now that they're in close proximity of each other.
I have to say, Rafe really irritated me at times with his hot/cold reactions to Adele. She's extremely forgiving/understanding in this book.
We get to find out more about the mysterious Gabriel D the team has been tracking ... and I cannot wait to find out where the next book is going to take us.
