after loving the first book to this series i started this one straight after even though i was hesitant since i really couldnt work out how the story could progress any futher with the way the first one ended but anywhooo.
i loved the eerie vibes again, i really was freaked out but nowhere near as much as in the usher house. i enjoyed being back with alex and the others but i wasnt as interested in this story as the first but it was a quick read so i didnt mind and i love kingfishers writing so it was fun regardless.
