I liked this book. It revolved around the idea of marriage and the work marriage takes. It’s emotional in ways that it talks about space between Lauren and her husband, spending time with siblings, celebrating a new member of the family and the potential for a new marriage. As well as, processing a unfortunate death in the family. This book is a whirlwind of emotions and shows that marriage is not about love or making the other person happy. Marriage is about sacrifice and open communication.
