I'm definitely going to continue reading these seasonal collections but I was honestly expecting more from this. I wonder if Christie's short stories just aren't for me or if it was just this collection in particular that didn't vibe with me.

The Blood-Stained Pavement
⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had no idea what to expect from this collection but I really enjoyed this one, as predictable as it was.

The Double Clue
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Interesting enough but really nothing to write home about.

Death on The Nile
⭐️⭐️⭐️.25
I'm guessing that once I've read a few more of Agatha Chrostie's full-length mysteries I'm going to recognise more characters but it was fun to meet some of Christie's lesser-known sleuths.

Harlequin's Lane
⭐️⭐️.5
Probably the spookiest of AC's short stories so far.

The Adventure of the Italian Nobleman
⭐️⭐️
Pretty damn boring but I do like Poirot!

Jane in Search of a Job
⭐️⭐️⭐️
I was reading this thinking wow this sounds like a great way to get kidnapped and then what do you think happened? This girl has no self-preservation skills.

The Disappearance of Mr. Davenheim
⭐️⭐️⭐️.25
Now this is my kind of mystery! Poirot, I am a fan!

The Idol House of Astarte
⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was so interesting and the solution was so boring.

The Rajah's Emerald
⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
James Bond but...not 🤣 she had me for a second there i won't lie. I really enjoyed this one!

The Oracle at Delphi
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Mr Parker Payne, I do believe I am a fan of you. I really hope I'll see him pop up in more stories.

The Adventure of the Sinister Stranger
⭐️⭐️
Just boring.

The Incredible Theft
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Certainly one of the more interesting stories in this collection!
