Le sigh. I WANT to love this series. I do. I’m here for the SUPERA slow burn. I’m here for the fact he’s MISERABLE in book 2. But I cannot get past the writing — almost 30% in and I’m BORED. If I read “fates-blessed mate” or “ice around my heart” one more time… I’ve heard it only gets worse in book two: apparently half the book didn’t even see an editor. Well, I’ll come back to this if it ever gets traditionally published or she announces that it’s been edited and cleaned up.
