ML Bash gave trigger warnings and meant them! I don’t know what I was expecting as a followup to Seven ‘Lucky’ getting passed around like a blunt in the woods, but here I am with the shocked Pikachu face all the same. When this picked up right after the ending of You Hide I’ll Seek, I thought the saucy, lovey dovey vibes were going to continue and was sorely mistaken. I’m a fan of the way the author writes poly and smut, but even this was a lot for me. I wasn’t as much of a fan of these characters (or the writing) as I was of her others. It felt like she was trying to emulate the success of Nobody to Love You Better but as a twisted, dark romance.
