Not That Complicated by Isabel Murray

Do you love Rom-Coms? Then 100% this is for you.

Excellent writing, over-the-top plot, and funny but ridiculous characters make up this novel.

Ray is a dramatic walking ball of nerves, slightly unhinged, but ultimately just an insecure guy who can’t believe the ridiculously hot young man, Adam, would ever want to be with an exasperating and average older guy.

Ray can’t seem to get a handle, on, well, anything, and his bark is, actually he just barks a lot! But Adam knows what he wants, and seems to know how to tame and soothe him.

It’s a game of push (Ray) and pull (Adam) until Ray can realize that it’s supposed to go both ways.

Rom-Coms aren’t entirely my genre, but I can appreciate strong writing, and this is exactly what a rom-com should be.
