Lady Isabella's Scandalous Marriage by Jennifer Ashley
4.0
I liked it.
Isabella is an extremely attractive wife. She lives on her own, she has fabulous parties, she's married to a handsome painter whom she never speaks to and loves children. What's not to love about her?
Mac is a handsome, passionate, kind and a little flawed painter. He's married to the most wonderful woman and yet can't have her. He's forced her away, and really doesn't blame her for leaving--if only she'd give him another chance.
The chance is given when a mysterious painting almost identical to Mac's is spotted at one of Isabella's dinner parties. Baffled by this she returns to visit Mac and question him about the painting.
From there you go through highs and lows, laughs and sadness as you hear of their story and the bonds that bring them back together.
I love the family dynamic of the Mackenzie's, it truly brought the book in a full circle.
