Gods & Monsters by Shelby Mahurin
5.0

Where you go, I will go. Where you stay, I will stay.
I seriously feel out of words and idk where to start with. This series immediately became my top 5 reads of 2022 as I started with the first. And definitely reached my top favorites of all time.
I can't point out a single thing I don't like about this series. Everything. Literally everything. The plot, the world, the characters, the writing, the romance, I'm ready to trade my soul for. I feel like it's me being unfaithful towards the series if I let myself even forget the tiniest detail of the trilogy.
ATM I'm desperately looking for more books from Shelby Mahurin.
I adore each and everything with all of my heart and soul.
And the epilogue. BEST. WRITTEN. EPILOGUE. EVER.
It caught me crying for hours while reading it. Especially after realizing it's from Ansel's perspective.
My favorite part is definitely the romance. It appears so satisfying every single time I re-recall all of the Lou-Reid moments and their entire journey. And now I can't get more of them I crave for it even more. Just like the series, their romance beholds a special space inside me, and with each passing minute Im losing more of myself to them.
I didn't give enough credits to Lou's character in my previous reviews. So here it is.
The major reason behind me falling over this series is because of Lou's presence. Her wit, her sass, her everything, and you can find me drooling all over her. It is so fresh and rare to see a sexually active female protagonist in ya fantasy. The way she sacrifices herself for others and the amount of pain she goes through shatters my heart like anything.
Lou, Reid, Coco, Ansel, Beau deserves the world and I will love 'em with all of my heart <3<3<3
Forever and ever.
