Patricia Logan has been a favorite author of mine for a while. Her characters and the world she builds are strong, resilient and full of personality. "Tooth and Nail" is no exception. It is a wild and wacky ride into the supernatural and alien hidden world. I love how this is the same world as her other books and just another aspect of it. One of the MCs has a role in one of the previous FBI FIles series books and it is great to see him have his own series and watch as he's introduced to the ISR Department of the US Marshalls.

There is a lot that goes on in this book and there is an underlying mystery that will progress as the series moves along. The romance part of the book is sweet and at the moment more attraction and physical then affection and love. It doesn't feel very developed but that is because this is book 1 and there are so many other things that happen. Also, this all takes place in a week, maybe less. There really hasn't been time for the characters to really form a relationship since Ari just started at ISR and he and Eoghan have been going non stop from day 1. That being said, the beginning is there for a strong relationship and HEA and I can't wait to see it develop and learn more about the cases handled by ISR.
