What in the creepy ass cliffhanger was that!
This book has such a sweet and awkward couple and fantastic banter between the cast of characters. While there is a bigger plot going on it still maintained a fluffy quality until the last few chapters when shit started going down. And then we find out some information that just has a very creepy quality to it, which honestly I was not expecting at all.
I came for the romance but I am sat for the plot.
I loved the cast of characters, the world building wasn’t as expansive as I would have liked but I think that was done on purpose. The next book in the series sounds like it takes the world building up another notch which I am very excited for.
