“That’s the thing about paying in blood, there’s never enough.”
Bahni Turpin is always going to bring something extra to a story. The narration she does on anything book has been awesome. Now her plus the theatrical/cinematic aspect to this audiobook was really good. I mean every single thing they did brought the story to life. If you closed your eyes you could just see it.
For the story itself it was cool. I liked the overall theme of the story and background. A little bit of drama with the sisters. But nothing blew me away with the story alone. Definitely worth the listen to see what audiobooks can be when going all out.
