I just could not get into this one. It’s extremely slow paced and overly descriptive for my taste. I was hoping to learn more about Edith and how she helped run the country in her husband’s place as well as the influence she had. But the courtship has taken up so much of the book and I honestly couldn’t care less about these characters. Also I hate how Woodrow keeps calling Edith “little girl”
