What a beautiful ending to such a magical series! This book had all the fast paced, heart wrenching moments that I was dying for in the first two! It's ending was satisfying, heartbreaking, and fulfilling.

I am going to miss these characters. Deep in my bones, they are one of my favorite collection of characters ever. Lila specifically is now one of my favorite characters of all time. She had a beautiful character arch that still kept to who she was from the beginning, but allowed her to grow and change into so much more. I loved the subtle romantic relationship developments, they had me giddy and smiling from ear to ear.

Above all else, V.E. Schwab is an exceptional writer. Not many can hold a candle to the remarkable way she is able to weave words together. Her stories feel like magic, and if someone ever asked me if magic exists I would respond with, "Yes, and you can find it in a V.E. Schwab book." So sad to be leaving this series behind and I can't wait to reread them one day.
