I wish I’d enjoyed this more than I did.

While I liked Cassie and Frederick well enough, I felt it didn’t delve into their relationship as much as I’d hoped. It took too long for them to get together (past the 60% mark) and then when they did, it felt very surface level.

The climax was also kinda… boring?

I’m in love with the cover art though, it’s so cute! I’ll still be down to read the next book for Reginald. Hopefully that one is a bit more exciting.
