I … have no words at how wonderful this book was 🥹 I have a feeling this review is just going to be me gushing for several paragraphs

my biggest toxic trait is going into books blind. you recommend it? great, I’m not even going to read the jacket cover 😅 so I totally thought this was going to be a tragic coho style romance.

WRONG.

this story was light on the romance, heavy on the friendship and relationships made with other human beings. I absolutely adored every second of it.

this story makes you feel ALL of the emotions from happiness to grief and everywhere in between 🥹🤍 and it’s necessary to get to the point where humans rely on love in their life to provide happiness !

anything can happen at any time, and especially over the span of five years, and that’s a terrifying concept for both myself and MC dannie (we are planners to our core). I think it’s an important lesson to ultimately live in the moment no matter what ✨

rebecca’s writing is always so beautiful - I’m immediately starting her entire backlist now mmmkay
