Someone just slap me across the face. WHY have I not read Catherine Cowles before?! Because I'm an idiot, that's why. This book absolutely CONSUMED ME and now I'm about to go back and read every book she's ever written. WOW. WOW WOW WOW.

Whispers of You is a small town romance with all the twists and turns that keep you glued to the pages and desperate to know what happens next. I fell in love with every single character, from swoony, protective Holt and strong, sassy Wren to the grumpy, loving dad, rowdy, nosey brothers, and adorable, demanding little sister/best friend. Seriously, Catherine knows how to make a town full of people you just can't help but fall for!

I loved so much about this book, but what I loved most was how it made me FEEL. Despite the suspense, it felt so damn COZY. I wanted to wrap myself up in this story and this town and just live forever. It became my entire personality. I wish I could read it again for the first time to have this same feeling!

Whispers of You is a suspenseful small town knockout. This second-chance love story is one for the ages, a warm, unforgettable romance with the perfect combination of laughs, surprises, and, my favorite, SPICE. If you're looking for something fresh that will keep you guessing and have you falling more and more in love with each flip of the page, this one is for you. Five stars and more.
