Bunny by Mona Awad
5.0
This book is Mean Girls on acid. It's [b:The Secret History|29044|The Secret History|Donna Tartt|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1451554846s/29044.jpg|221359], hot pink, doused in lemon cake scented perfume, and covered in blood. It's the book [a:Kristen Roupenian|14853744|Kristen Roupenian|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/f_50x66-6a03a5c12233c941481992b82eea8d23.png] wishes she wrote. I absolutely devoured Bunny over the last few days. It's a dark and sparkly fever dream, one I'm still not sure I've woken up from. Mona Awad has created a story that is likely to be polarizing. It's easily hateable, for someone who dislikes consistent discomfort and horrible people in a narrative. Thankfully, it's my favorite thing.
