This book had me smiling from ear to ear and staying up WAY past my bedtime(which is a very serious problem when my bedtime is usually around 2am 🙈) because I just couldn't put it down! It was so damn cute! Let me start with Khephren, that sweet, pink, baby cinnamon roll and his unyielding optimism. What an adorable character. I was as in love with him as Sasha by the end of the book, honestly. His love for all things Hallmark Christmas, his loyalty to his friends, his considerate nature and gentleness... everything about him was just so unbelievably adorable and I'm dying to see some fan art of this marshmallow of an alien. I loved Sasha almost just as much! He was a bit of a Grump-lite, instead of being truly grumpy, but that just made him an even better partner for Kheph. He was sassy and fierce, but also melted so fast for Khephren, letting his walls fall down and trusting that he would be loved once he got to know Kheph throughout their journey. This book was truly so delightful. I think it's going on my comfort re-reads list for sure!
