For me, this book was excellent until the last 1/4, where a lot of the major plot points were abandoned or hand waved in favor of the romance. I think this is sometimes a flaw of Romantasy, where the fantasy and the world building elements come second to the relationship, and so the endings often leave more unanswered than I would like. Still a very enjoyable book, very charming and fun to read.
