This book was a ride!! It may have taken me a while since I was reading it as my backup book, but damn after it hit a certain point, I had to give it all of my attention because it just took off! I was invested in the characters. I felt all kinds of different emotions, and I had no clue who it was until the very end. It was my first Hillier book, but it definitely won't be my last.
