I was surprised that this book managed to keep me interested as long as it did despite my dislike of the writing style and how predictable it was at times. I really thought this would be a fun read since the overall idea was interesting but it felt dragged out at times. The one positive was it reminded me a little bit of the selection series so it was nice to revisit a book trope that I enjoyed before. Overall this just wasn't the book for me.
