New Zealand comic about people involuntarily transported to the 22nd century as part of a school “exchange” program gradually builds into an international conspiracy theory that is … still based out of New Zealand. Chelsey Furedi’s story develops well, although it’s not entirely clear whether she plotted it out in advance or not, and some parts are communicated more clearly than others, but it’s the sort of story where the end pays for a lot of the rest of it - and it’s always nice to read a graphic novel that is entirely self-contained.
